L’histoire de l’Esprit du Chien débute par la rencontre d’un humain et d’un chien.
Amélie et Inuki, qui sont raidement devenues les meilleures amies du monde.
En grandissant, Inuki démontra des signes de grande sensibilité et devint conséquemment réactive à plusieurs situations.
Désireuse de comprendre Inuki et de trouver la bonne façon de transmettre des apprentissages à Inuki, Amélie a fait beaucoup de lectures et de rencontres jusqu’à découvrir la merveilleuse méthode de la Karen Pryor Academy.
La méthode, basée sur le renforcement positif et sur la compréhension du chien, s’est avérée être une alliée puissante pour donner tous les outils nécessaires à Inuki afin qu’elle gère mieux ses émotions.
Devant un tel succès, Amélie et Inuki se sont rendues auprès de Emma Parsons pour y perfectionner leurs apprentissages et devenir entraîneur partenaire certifié de la Karen Pryor Academy.

Elle peut donc mettre à profit ses compétences en développement de formations acquises dans le milieu des affaires auprès de ses clients de L’Esprit du Chien.

The story of L’Esprit du Chien begins by the encounter of a human and a dog.
Amelie and Inuki soon became great friends.
Growing up, Inuki turned out to be a very sensitive dog and became reactive in different situations.
Willing to understand Inuki and to find the best way to help her learn new ways, Amelie went through a lot of books and met different people, until she discovered the great method of the Karen Pryor Academy.
Based on positive reinforcement and on the understanding of the dog, this method soon proved to be of great help to show Inuki how to behave in difficult situations.
Seeing this great success, Amelie and Inuki went to work with Emma Parsons to learn more on the technique and became certified training partner.
These days, Amelie and Inuki travel around the province of Quebec to share their knowledge and to help human-dog duos to better understand each other and to have better life together.
