Les Ami(e)s de la guitare est une association basée à Rouen qui porte bien son nom.
La guitare classique et d’accompagnement est au centre de ses activités.
Une fois par mois, les Ami(e)s proposent une scène ouverte, chaque dernier vendredi.

L’origine de ce rendez-vous mensuel est lointaine.
L’association qui a fêté ses trente ans en 2014 a été fondée par Bernard Bailleul, guitariste classique, « un prof de guitare, mais également un prof de vie », et Sylvain Pannier.
Bernard Bailleul organisait des samedis après-midis récréatifs, toutes les semaines, afin que les élèves puissent s’exprimer.
« Nous avons voulu continuer ce rendez-vous en le transformant en soirée mensuelle.

Il y a vingt-cinq ans, une boucherie de la rive gauche était transformée par ce comité afin de devenir un lieu d’apprentissage et d’expression musicale.

Nous comptons une vingtaine d’élèves.
Il y a ceux qui débutent de bonne heure.
Notre plus jeune élève à 8 ans.
C’est un âge raisonnable pour débuter, mais il faut avoir conscience que la guitare demande du travail.
Notre élève le plus âgé a 76 ans.
