Legião Urbana foi uma banda brasileira de rock de Brasília.
Ativa entre 1982 e 1996, a banda foi desfeita após a morte do seu vocalista e líder, Renato Russo, em 11 de outubro de 1996.
No período, lançaram 8 álbuns, somando mais de 33 milhões de discos vendidos, incluindo na contagem das vendas albúns posteriores a morte de Renato caso, por exemplo do Acústico MTV e do Album de Estúdio Uma outra estação.
Em 2010, a Legião Urbana foi o segundo grupo musical da gravadora EMI que mais vendeu discos de catálogo em todo o mundo, com uma média de 350 mil cópias por ano.
