Detailed description is Legal Education Outreach is a student club that aims to expose high school students to the study of law and legal thinking.
LEO is a young club and has grown dramatically over its short history.
UBC Law students formed LEO in 2008 and presented its first workshops during the 2008/2009 academic year.
We encourage students to consider educational and career opportunities in law and we connect students with current law students and legal professionals.
In particular, we aim to connect with students from schools whose graduates are underrepresented in law school.
Since then, we have reached more than 600 students every year through workshops and a field trip to UBC..
