Detailed description is Leek School of Art at Buxton & Leek College Leek School of Art is the oldest part of Buxton & Leek College and has a distinguished history; the first classes were held in the Nicholson institute in 1884.
This year sees the opening of the new Art and Design building, part of the £8.5m redevelopment programme on the Leek Campus.
This 3 storey building will house the design studios, 3D workshops, ceramic, textiles and print rooms, boasting the latest equipment for our students.

The full range of courses; Level 2 Art and Design, Level 3 Extended Diploma Art and Design and Foundation Diploma and Foundation Degree Creative Art and Design Practice (part time) allow students to specialise in varying art disciplines including textiles, fashion, print, ceramics, 3D, fine art, painting, graphics, illustration and photography..
