Detailed description is League For Life is an annual community event which raises funds to reduce youth suicide and provide increased levels of support and assistance for those suffering from depression and other life issues.
Funds raised are donated to the Pathways to Resilience Trust, which is a Brisbane based charity which helps the youth directly..

League For Life was created in 2010 by several Brisbane Boys College and Gregory Terrace Old Boys as a means of getting the Old boys from GPS schools together for a day of rugby league to raise money for Pathways to Resilience.
League for Life is now in its fourth year and is growing raidly.
A number of GPS schools are already involved in the event and it is hoped that more GPS schools will become involved as the concept expands.
The day consists of the mini rugby league competition, exhibition matches, on field entertainment, food stalls and much more! .

The trophy honours and represents the lives of three young private school men who took their lives.
