Detailed description is Real World - Real Working Cattle! For years we ran commercial cattle, as did generations of our families, going back on both Lance and Shelley's side 3 generations right here in the Beautiful Bitterroot Valley! So 9 years ago when we started the registered herd we expected the registered cows to preform under the same working conditions, and give us more back! And they have done just that - we run each summer on some tough dryland country on the eastside of the valley, and the cow's do a great job getting out and making a living in this environment! We believe in a strong maternal base will make a long lasting herd, we have some cows that are 12 + years old that still came in the fall AI bred with a big 800 lb +calf at side.
