I'm Laura Max, and I'm a Boston-based portrait and product photographer.
Also a writer and multimedia journalist, I find myself constantly inspired by photographing the world as I see it and by the many incredible experiences I've had working with fascinating people.
Through photography, I revel in following my bliss and capturing yours on camera..

I discovered my passion for communicating through media when I was a teenager, and have spent most of my time since then either in front of or behind a camera.
As a regular guest on a CBS talk show in my hometown at 17, I realized that while it was often a struggle for me to "be myself" with my teenage peers, I was for some reason completely comfortable doing so in front of the thousands watching me on camera.

Though much has changed since then (particularly that I no longer have bleached hair and MASSIVE acrylic nails...why didn't anyone say something?!?!), my knack for utilizing media to shed light on the human connection has only grown stronger.
Through photography, video, and writing I not only find more of my own voice, but also great joy in sharing the voices and stories of others..
