Edinburgh..Last Of The Privateers are an Indie-Folk band from Edinburgh that originally started out under the name 'The Last of Barrett's Privateers', formed in 2009 by lead singer Toby Cooke.
After teaming up with Idlewild's Rod Jones as producer and sound engineer Kris Pohl (Jones & Pohl) in 2012, the line-up changed with the joining of Steve Morrison on drums, Henry Bird on brass and vocals, and Lee Harper on electric guitar.
To reflect the new sound emerging from the recording the band changed its name to Last Of The Privateers..
