The La Pine Community Kitchen is a non-profit 501(3)(c) that serves Southern Deschutes, North Klamath, and west Lake counties in Central Oregon.
"The Kitchen" has been in business since 2002, and has grown steadily over time from serving box lunches a few days a week to serving hot lunches 5 days a week (M-F, 12:00 to 2:00 pm); Emergency Food Boxes 3 days a week (M, W, F, 1:00 to 2:00 pm); free clothing which also includes hygiene items, tents, sleeping bags, and bedding 3 days a week (M,W, F, 11:00 to 2:00 pm); and fresh produce and dairy products 2 days a week (W, F, 12:00 to 1:00)..

We are supported by the community of La Pine, Oregon, service/social groups, and personal donations.
We receive funds from Deschutes County/United Way and the EFSP (a Federal program), We are a proud partner of NeighborImpact and the Oregon Food Bank.
Recently we have received generous grants from private foundations and Deschutes County..

Our future plans are to repair and remodel our existing buildings or build new one in the next couple of years..
