4, 2014, located just north of the Downtown LA Arts District in the world’s largest live/work artist colony – The Brewery Arts Complex.
Inspired by the over 300 artists working onsite, LAMPEROUGE will attempt to harness the exploding creativity of LA artists, bringing that ever-flowing and edgy newness to the community in a vibrant and refreshing fashion..
Serving early and midcareer artists in multiple disciplines, the featured artists in the premiere opening “ARTOBER” on October 4, 2014 are adept at contemporary realism and abstract style painting, mixed-media and live performance.

ARTOBER’s exhibit features works that combine elements of street art, collage, Eastern sumi-ink calligraphy, recycled detritus, and multi-layered compositions in juxtaposed and recomposed perspectives.
The opening event in the architectural gallery setting will feature live painting by 4 artists, creating ongoing projects throughout the month, culminating with a silent auction on the final day of the Brewery’s semi-annual artwalk on Oct.
