Detailed description is Lakewood Community Garden (Lakewood Blooms) is a community garden located in Glenwood, NL next to the local k-12 school and day care/preschool.
The Lakewood Blooms Community Garden is a school garden for students of Lakewood Academy, the NewFunLand Daycare and Preschool and residents of the community.
Students plant in the garden in June each year before school ends, then harvest in the fall in new school year.
Families are encouraged to volunteer during the summer and keep the students engaged and involved in the growing process.
All volunteers are welcomed.
