Detailed description is The Lakeshore Concert Band, originally created to encourage and promote community music for amateur musicians, young and old.
1967-2017 50 years already! The Lakeshore Concert Band is a community band whose musicians are amateurs in the truest sense of the word: they are lovers of music.
Being a non-profit organization, the band is enthusiastic about supporting charitable causes.
This leads them to perform concerts at schools, hospitals, and fundraising events..

The members of this group don’t get paid, but that doesn’t stop them from enthusiastically tackling challenging projects.
The band has recorded two CDs - A Lakeshore Concert in 1997 and A World of Music in 2002.
The band members have also gotten great mileage out of their suitcases, with no less than three European concert tours, a Maritime tour, a band festival in Boston, and most recently tours to British Columbia and Barbados.
The band’s home base is in Dorval, with which it has enjoyed a strong relationship for many years.
Concerts are presented year-round; outdoors when the summer weather permits, and in concert halls and churches in the winter.
