Detailed description is I am asking for your trust, your support and your vote in the May 2018 Primary Election for State Representative of the 112th Legislative District Welcome to the Friends of Kyle Mullins campaign site where my team and I will keep you posted on future events, opportunities to contribute, and other ways you can help as we prepare for the May 2018 Primary Election.
I plan to make this campaign and my eventual service in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives about you: the friends and families who make up the 112th District.
But first, I should tell you a little about me and how my experience in our hometown and in Harrisburg has prepared me to represent you.

My younger sister Kelly and I were raised in Peckville by our incredible parents, Mike and Christina (Flannery) Mullins.
I graduated from Valley View High School in 2003 and went on to study Political Science at West Chester University where I served as Student Body President.
After graduating from West Chester in 2007, I began working in the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg.
It was in the Senate Democratic Research Office where I gained firsthand experience in the legislative process and began to develop meaningful relationships on the Democratic and Republican side.
During 2009 and 2010, I served as the legislative assistant to former State Senator Mike Stack (D-Phl) in his Capitol office, adding to my experience in all that goes into serving constituents and passing legislation.

It was also in 2009 when my future wife, Lauren Cobb, a Valley View classmate, caught my eye at “Saint Ubaldo Day,” an Italian festival held in the town of Jessup each Memorial Day Weekend.
I later married Lauren in 2013, made Peckville our home with our dog “Jagger” in 2015, and welcomed our first son Conor in January 2017.
I have always said that political campaigns should start with love and support at home, and I am so blessed to have both.

In early 2011, I was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime when Senator John Blake asked me to be his legislative director.
Since then, I have had the distinct honor of working for Senator Blake, in both the Scranton and Harrisburg offices which has given me a thorough understanding of what it means to serve the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Thanks to his steady leadership and bipartisan approach to public service, combined with my experience and long-standing relationships, we have made an effective team in passing legislation and delivering resources to our home communities..
