On November 28, 2016 I was elected by the vote of nine Republican Precinct Committeemen and Committeewomen to replace David Trout on the Council, as he was moving out of the city limits.
It is an honor and a privilege to represent you.
I will work everyday to make sure Martinsville is the best possible City for you to raise your family, that your tax dollars are being used wisely for your benefit, and that the City is ready for the future!.

I moved to Martinsville on November 14, 1987, the day after I was born.
My parents still live in the same home, south of the City.
I am very proud of my education from the MSD of Martinsville; South Elementary, Poston Road, West Middle, and Martinsville High School.
The education I received here gave me a head start when I headed off to college.
I attended Indiana University, where I majored in History.
I then attended law school at the University of Dayton.
Those reading this, who knows me personally, know where I can be found on IU game days! .

In 2013, I was lucky enough to be offered a job as an attorney at Boren, Oliver and Coffey, LLP.
Many of my fellow classmates dreamed of jobs in large cities, I wanted to come back to the city that made me who I am today.
I can honestly say that I have my dream job.
The greatest advantage I had and continue to have in business is being raised in Martinsville around a community of people who truly care about each other and have never met a stranger!.

In 2015, I moved into a nearly century old home that I live in downtown.
I love living downtown and restoring the home.
Many of my friends from here who have moved away ask me what it is like to be back, I always give them the same answer, “It’s an exciting time in the city, you need to come back and grow with us!” That goes to anyone who is reading this, come check out Martinsville, come see what we have going on, come grow with us!.
