Starting plants for the family truck farm , Martha Kramer soon started supplying plants to friends and neighbors, dug by the roots from benches of soil and wrapped in newspaper..
In 1963, Wayne Kramer and his wife, Helen, built a larger greenhouse at their home on Steubenville Pike – then US 22 – and continued the business with the help of their five children..
Today, Chris and Dawn Kramer and the FIFTH generation of Kramers welcome long-time customers and new ones to Kramer’s Greenhouse, at its newest location on Steubenville Pike in Bavington..
