Detailed description is Knowles Volunteer Fire Department Knowles Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1895.
We currently provide Fire protection and prevention to the Township of Lomira and Leroy, and Mutual aid to departments across Dodge, Fond du Lac, and Washington Counties.

We are a completely Volunteer organization, meaning our members receive no compensation what soever for their time and efforts.
Just a true desire to serve their community in the best way they can..
We hold practice every Tuesday night at 8 pm.
We hold an annual 4th of July picnic and a spring and fall raffle and fun night..
The Knowles Fire Department is a private Fire Department meaning that we have contracts with the townships we serve.
All our funding comes from our contracts, fundraisers, and generous donations from people and businesses in the community..
