In 1997 he went to work with a mortgage company learning about the financing, appraising and underwriting process of real estate and the various options that are available in financing.
In 1999, Ken started his own mortgage company which was in business until 2010.
During his time as a mortgage lender he decided that he wanted to learn everything he could about real estate; so in 1995 he became a licensed realtor and went to appraisal school.
