Although I enjoyed high school art and painting classes, I had other things on my mind like skiing.
After high school, I began a career outdoors that included ski patrolling and avalanche forecasting.
During this time, I developed a deep interest in taking pictures.
However, I had not considered photography as a career.
In my early thirties, I moved to Alaska to fulfill my dream of skiing big lines.
I accepted a job as a helicopter ski guide in Valdez, Alaska and I was off.
After many years of guiding and working with photographers and after time spent in beautiful places, I was eager to begin pursuing photography full time..
