Detailed description is Kansas City Metropolitan School of the Arts will open for the 2017-18 school year in downtown Overland Park with grades 6th-8th MSAKC will be a 7-year private school of choice in the metropolitan Kansas City.
The goal is to provide students with a rigorous academic environment, encourage artistic excellence, and provide professional enrichment opportunities to both staff and students.
Students graduating from MSAKC will be prepared to enroll in an academic university, an arts conservatory, or pursue a professional artistic endeavor..
