Detailed description is Piano-Voice-Audition Coaching Hey guys! I’m Kaleigh, a music teacher in the Chicago area.
I am a 24 years old and have been teaching on and off since I was about 15.
I teach both piano and voice, but mainly piano.
My teaching style is to teach a traditional foundation of music the integrates theory, performance, and various styles.
I try to individualize each lesson based on the student I am working with.
I have experience teaching all ages, 3 through adult, and all types of people.
I have also taught group music and theatre classes and have coached clients for auditions..

A little bit about me…I started piano when I was 6, although I didn’t find a love and passion for it until I was able to start playing the pieces that I wanted to play.
Shortly after beginning piano lessons, I started singing and performing in local musical theatre productions.
I was part of the Young People’s Company at the highly acclaimed Piven Theatre in Evanston, IL and then went on to attend the Chicago Academy for the Arts where I concentrated in musical theatre.
After high school I was accepted into the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.
It was a conservatory that I attended before coming home and starting my own piano studio.
I have performed in numerous theatrical productions throughout the Chicago area and when I can, I play keyboards for my sister, Ashleigh’s, band.
I also perform, myself, as an actress, vocalist, and pianist for various events.
I have an associates degree in music from Joliet Junior College, where I also worked with music technology and recording.
I also hold a Bachelors of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of St.

Typically my lessons last a half hour with expected practice in between lessons.
