For well babies, premature babies, special need babies, sick babies....every baby Infant Massage (also known as mirimiri), an ancient art (from your heart to your hands), is coming to the Kaipara Area...you are offered the opportunity to learn infant massage with a trained and certified/registered IAIM Infant Massage Teacher of 17 years, with your baby over 5 weekly sessions or I am mobile and come to you and offer one-to-one sessions.
Classes will be run term by term at St Peter's Anglican Church Hall in Te Kopuru (only a 10 minute drive from Dargaville).
We will be using a combination of Indian and Swedish Massage strokes, reflexology and gentle yoga stretches.
The massage strokes help to promote relaxation, promote deeper and longer sleep, ease discomfort of painful gas/wind, colic, reflux and growing pains, encourage circulation to name a few and most importantly a beautiful way to bond with baby communicating love through touch.
Its also a great way to meet other mums who have just had a baby.
Classes are for babies 6weeks old to those not yet crawling.
Recommended for well babies, premature babies, colicky babies, special need babies....all babies.
