K.B.Women’s College is a prestigious women’s college in Hazaribag.
It was established in the year 1963.
It was then known as the ‘Women's College’ and later on, the college shifted to its present premises and was renamed as ‘Krishna Bhallabh Women’s College’.It was named after an active freedom fighter Krishna Ballabh Sahay ,who was appointed as the Revenue minister of Bihar after independence and also became the Chief Minister of unified Bihar.
He contributed a lot to enact law to abolish the Zamindary system from the state.
Krishna Ballabh Sahay also played a major role in the Land Reformation..
