Educational institutions are the milestones of a cultural Society.Until 1930’s,there was no development in the field of education at kadampanad village and nearby places.At that time the great visionary Sri.KR KRISHNA PILLAI understood the importance of education and he established an educational institution in kadampanad village.At first,he began the Malayalam middle school in a small building for this purpose.Sri.
R Velu pillai was the first headmaster and later the baton was handed over to Sri.T S Krishna Iyer,R Velu pillai,N Raman pillai,P P Padmanabhan pillai,P Narayana pillai etc.After fifteen years the Malayalam middle school became Malayalam High School and then to High School Kadampanad.other3.

Later the school was bifurcated to Girls, Boys and Mannady H S and managed by the great Sri.K.Raveendranathan pillai.Later our school was turned to KRKPM BHS & VHSS,KADAMPANAD.He eas humble and simple and philanthropist.He helped the poor people generously.The great leader passed away from us on 29th June 2012.It was really a great loss for all we could not forget his smiling,humble face from our memories..
