Just What Grows Gardens is a seasonal outdoor set of gardens open to the public.
The cutting garden is open May through mid October.
This is an outdoor garden dependent on Mother Nature.
If it is a cold spring, plant growth will be delayed.
All customers must meet with the owners for the first visit so please call for an appt.
Apointments can be made on evenings after 5:00 or during the weekends.
After the first visit, customers will be trusted and allowed to visit the gardens as they please.
Do not come out to the garden for the first time without making an appt.
We are not always available at the garden..

2014 Flower, Herb, and Combo shares .

Our Flower and Herb Share program is based on the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) that is quite popular along the Front Range.
Members support the gardens by purchasing garden shares in advance of the growing season.
This allows Bret and Stacey to know how many flowers, herbs and other crops need to be planted each spring.
The cutting gardens will be open to members that purchase shares every day.
It will be open Thursday thru Sunday to the general public.
Shareholders will be given a larger pail than the customers that pay as they go.
This is one of the benefits for buying shares.

For the 2014 growing season, there will be enough cut flowers and herbs available starting by the middle of June.
The owners will plant a minimum of 17 varieties of cut flowers such as Lisianthus, Snapdragons, and Zinnias along with some filler flowers such as bachelor buttons and bunny tail grass.
A minimum of ten Dahlia plants will be planted.
At least ten varieties of herbs will also be planted.
Iris, Delphiniums, and Alliums bulbs should be available to pick the last week of May.

Over 200 Gladiolus will be planted in the spring for August blooms.

Flower Shares can be bought for $120 for an estimated 12 weeks.
(All of July, August, and September) Large pail of mixed flowers once a week, plus one pail of herbs in August ($187 value)(usually June also).

Herb Shares can be bought for $75.00 for an estimated 16 weeks.
(All of June, July, August, and September) A mixed pail of each available variety of herbs.
($84.00 value) .

A Combo Share is $150.00 for an estimated 12 weeks.
(All of July, August, and September) A large pail of flowers once a week, plus a pail of herbs each week.
($271.00 value) (Usually June also).

WEDDING FLOWERS- Our flowers are beautiful and make great wedding flowers! Contact me by May so I can plant your wedding colors! I can do wedding bouquets if needed.
But by picking your own buckets of flowers and arranging them yourself, you can save a lot of money.
Buckets of mixed flowers are $10.00 .
Add $5.00 if I pick them for you.
Countrystyle/Nosegay wedding bouquets will be the cost of flowers plus $10.00 a bouquet..

CHURCH/OFFICE ARRANGMENTS.- June 1st though Oct 1st.

Customer provides 2 vases at the start of the season..

FUNERAL FLOWERS- Hopefully, you will not need them but buying buckets of flowers at the gardens is a great way to save money when decorating the lunch tables,.

We will still allow customers to pick by the pail and pay as you go for 2014 season.
But you get a much better value if you purchase a "Share of the garden".
A pick your own pail of flowers is $10.00 for a mix of flowers and $15.00 for a solid pail of Lisianthus or other "speciality flowers." (But the pail for Share Programs is larger.).

A solid pail of Basil or Rosemary is $10.00.

Over 50 Lavender plants were planted in the fall and will start blooming June.
More lavender plants will be planted in the fall! Lavender plants are grown for cut stems/flowers.
The plants are only for sale in May.
A solid pail of Lavender is $15.00..

Our perennial plants are drought tolerant and native to the western states.
Grasses and perennials are $10.00 to $15.00 each.
Shrubs were vary by size and will sell for $15-$20.00 each for the 2014 season.
CALL BEFORE DRIVING OUT HERE to buy live plants.
Owners are not always present at the garden and must be here to dig up the plants..
