Hi there! Welcome to Just Beat It, started by me, Sudha Rao, a lawyer turned pastry chef.
In 2015, I took a huge leap of faith when I decided to quit my cushy corporate life to join pastry school.
It is not as if law was the wrong choice of profession, but I found myself feeling more at peace and happy when I was back home trying out a new recipe or baking for my family and friends.
I have always enjoyed playing host and cooking elaborate meals and desserts for the ones I love, my little guinea pigs, readily willing to be my taste testers and eager with their feedback.
Looking back now, it remains one of the best decisions of my life thus far.
I've found that few activities relax the mind and soothe the hungry soul like the way baking does.

Equipped with a professional Diploma in Baking Science and Pastry Arts from one of the leading institutions in India, I decided to share the fruits of my learning and experiments on a larger platform, thus starting the story of Just Beat It.
