Detailed description is Junkyard Brass is a New Orleans style brass band started in 2015.
Get ready to get on your feet, get groovin, and party with our blasting, booming brass.
Junkyard brass had its humble beginning in December of 2015.
Little did we know that down the road we would star in school assemblies, come out victorious in BHS’s battle of the bands, and have publicity that spread like wildfire.
We wanted to try something new, something battle of the bands had never seen before.
A brass band, straight from the streets of New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz.
Yeah we play music, but we have fun! People can’t listen to us and stay still, it is inevitably a party, we just can’t help it.
Now to introduce the members! Jaden Turner on Sousaphone, Ben Urie on Drums, Jacob Liljenquist and Rachel Hall on trombone, Archer Clayton and Mariah Turner on Trumpet, Anne Lindstrom, Eric Evans, and Cannon Burton on saxophone.
