I have been blessed with an amazing and supportive husband, and I have been privileged to give birth to six wonderful children.
I am a homeschool mom and alongside my husband we teach Sunday school and are the directors of the Awana program at our church.
We are committed to family and serving others and I am excited to use my training and skills as a doula to encourage, support and serve clients during their pregnancy and postpartum time.

My desire to become a doula has been building throughout the years.
I kind of had the idea swirling around in the back of my mind and it changed recently from “Wow, I wish I would have known about doulas when I was birthing kiddos!” to “ I would really like to help expecting families have a peaceful, natural birth without having to deal with unnecessary intervention and interruptions.” And so began my search to learn and obtain as much knowledge, education and training as possible to be able to assist expecting moms, partners and families throughout the birth process.
I studied with Child Birth International, spent time surveying birthing classes, shadowing professional midwives, and working with two experienced doula mentors (Tammy Sandel and Wendy Hinz).
I am also currently taking child birth assistant classes with Cindy Lybolt a homebirth midwife who serves our area..
I believe that information is the key to empowerment for all families.
I am passionate that families have access to the most up-to-date, research based evidence to inform their decision making as they approach the birth of their child.
And I am looking forward to educating, empowering, advocating for and encouraging families! Each woman’s birth is as unique as she is, and every woman will have different desires, needs, and preferences during pregnancy and childbirth.
It will be my role as doula to support them in whatever choices they make regarding their pregnancy, birth and postpartum time..
