Der Ortsverband Oldenburg ist der größte im Regionalverband Weser-Ems.
Mit mehr als 100 hauptamtlichen Mitarbeitern hat er inzwischen die Stärke eines kleinen mittelständischen Unternehmens erreicht.
Er ist einer von drei Standorten eines Intensivverlegungswagen (ITW) und organisiert den Blutstammzellentransport für die Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe.
