Detailed description is The Jazz Institute at Brevard is a 2-week immersive jazz experience with a world class faculty.
The Brevard Music Center is proud to introduce a brand new program for 2016 – Jazz Institute @ Brevard.
Led by renowned jazz trombonist Michael Dease, Brevard's new jazz program will provide a 2-week immersive jazz experience focusing on fundamental musical and technical elements, while exploring topics ranging from practice discipline to the process and procedures of jazz recording.
Our faculty includes some of the busiest working professionals in the industry – all of whom are excited about sharing their expertise with an enthusiastic student body..

The program will enroll 42 High School and College-age (and above) students who will participate in big band and combo classes and performances, private lessons, and mentoring sessions with world renowned faculty and guest artists..
