Pioneiro no ramo de supermercado na região, o Jaú Serve iniciou suas atividades em 10 de outubro de 1964, com sociedade constituída pelo fundador João Sanzovo, filhos e genros..
A primeira loja era localizada na Rua Humaitá, nº 776, com 400 m², três máquinas registradoras e 15 funcionários.
De lá para cá a Rede cresceu muito e continua em total expansão..
Hoje são 33 lojas em 14 cidades do interior paulista: Araraquara, Avaré, Barra Bonita, Botucatu, Descalvado, Ibitinga, Jaú, Leme, Lençóis Paulista, Pederneiras, Piracicaba, Pirassununga, São Carlos e São Manuel.
