Le Jardin des plantes de Caen est un jardin botanique au nord du centre-ville.
C'est un site classé depuis 1942.HistoireLa fondation difficile du jardin des plantesLa faculté de médecine de l'université de Caen est fondée en 1448.

Il est renouvelé pour quatre ans, mais François Marescot entreprend d'établir de façon définitive un jardin botanique attaché à l'université de Caen.
