Hi, my name is Heidi and I have lived in the Dover area since 2005, when my husband and I PCS to Dover AFB.
My husband has since retired from the Air Force.
I do have 2 wonderful kids, but they are now grown and on their own so to speak.
I find myself as an empty nester, but I am a proud mama of 2 wonderful Fur Babies.
I have a 8 year old dog named Maisey and a 4 year old cat named Stormy.
Over the course of my lifetime, I have always had pets (whether it would be a dog or a cat) around me.
To some they think of them as animals, but to me, they are my babies.
I been trying to figure out what I can do with all this spare time and all the while help others out.
I know first hand how hard it is to try and plan vacation trips when you have pets, especially if you can’t take them with you.
Or you may work long hours and your dog needs to be taken for a walk or checked on during the day.
Even if you work from home or a stay at home mom (especially with little kids), it is hard to find time to do that stuff for your pet.
That is where I come in.
I want to be able to help relieve some of that stress from you.
I offer a variety of services which include: .

Dog walking- this will be a 30 minute walk or taken to a dog park if in walking distance (dog part dependent if you feel comfortable in letting your dog go there).
This is usually limited to 2 dogs per walk.
Limited to 2 walks per day, depending on if I am available.
This is for anyone who works and even ones who are stay at home parents or whatever who doesn’t have the time to take their pet out for a walk..

Check in for dogs (at owners house): This will be a 30 minute visit.
Will include taking it outside to do their business, Including Feeding and providing food if instructed so by the owners.
A bit of playtime and lots of hugs and kisses for your pets during that time.
If you have other animals in the house, such as cat or hamsters, etc.
I will check in for them too and it is included in the price.
I will also pick up newspapers from your yard and if need be bring back trashcans if the day I watch them lands on trash day..

Cat Check in (for families with cats only)- I will come in and make sure they are fed and given clean water if requested and check to make sure their kitty litter is changed..

Waste removal- This is pick up of any dog poop in your yard.
This could be a weekly, biweekly, monthly or just one time pick up.
Prices can be discussed at the time when we talk..

Overnight visits: If you go out of town and need someone who can be there for your pet, i can do that.
Limited to the max of 2 weeks..

When you contact me, We will make arrangements to meet first with you and your pet or pets.
This is very important so that we can establish if the pet likes me and feels comfortable around me.
As for me, even though I don’t know the pet, there has been no pet that I don’t love right away.
It is a requirement that they are up to date on their shots.
I am not qualified to give medications nor feel comfortable with giving other pets their medications, so will not be part of my services..
