Falling into photography during his school years, Dave developed a grounding in physically developing photos in a lab.
Only mainly developing shots in Black n’ White due to cost constraints, his passion for photography simmered below the surface as a novice.

Today is very different.
Studying the finer arts of photography under the tutelage of Award Winning NSW based photographer Tony Palliser of STUDIO 49 fame, his skills have developed in a unique ways and has won awards for his images and had numerous images published.
His style in photography is unique and Dave's passion for photography is such, that he often seeks out new challenges to stretch his ability to take a photo.
In the last few years the passion for new challenges in photography combined with his hobby of diving have lead Dave to become an underwater photography dive instructor.
This has taken him to different countries around the world to capture the underwater world..
In 2010, after discussions with his mentor Tony Palliser.
Dave took the major step and opened STUDIO49 Central Coast a large photography studio covering almost 300sq/m on the Central Coast NSW.
This allows both Dave and Tony the ability to build large sets for clients and their photography and provide services that Tony's smaller studio in Sydney can not cater for..
