As long as I can remember, I have felt a desire to paint.
Few things are more thrilling for me than creating a piece of artwork..

I began taking art courses in the mid 70's and became serious about it in the mid 80's.
In 1992/1993/1994 I took private lessons from nationally known artist Barbara Dorey in Halifax, with an emphasis on portraiture.
Immediately after that I opened my own studio in Winterton, Trinity Bay, NL.
and for a number of years taught art lessons there.
