Detailed description is Intreid Stables proudly offers exquisite boarding, training, and lessons for riders interested in a combination of Dressage and Hunter/Jumper training.
Intreid Stables LLC is currently being operated out of the gorgeous Two Bit Farm in Boyertown, Pa by Dressage and Hunter/Jumper trainer, Courtney McKnight.
Her passion for horses started as a child and continued to grow over the years.
She began taking lessons and showing in the Hunters at her Equine Boarding high school Stoneleigh-Burnham in Greenfield, MA under head trainer Mina Payne Williams (Cooper).
After graduating she was offered a trainers position at the school's Equine summer program - Bonnie Castle Riding Camp "BCRC" .
This is when her natural talent for teaching bloomed.
The following fall she attended Delaware Valley University to study Equine and graduated in the Spring of 2016 with a degree in Equine Instruction and Training.
During her time in college Courtney pursued multiple opportunities studying and training under FEI level Dressage riders.
Her interest in Dressage peaked after buying her first halter-broke 2yr old Warmblood.
Shortly after graduating college with multiple British Horse Society (BHS) Riding and Training certifications, Courtney was asked to return to DelVal and run the summer KidsU Riding program.
After a successful session with the IEA students, the Delaware Valley University Equine Department offered her a position as a Riding Instructor for the Fall of 2016.
Since then Courtney has been fortunate enough to find a facility to call home to her new and thriving business, Intreid Stables LLC.
