Busca involucrar a las nuevas generaciones en la misión de innovar y fortalecer las capacidades del sector infraestructura para el desarrollo de México al promover y fomentar la cultura de innovación con una visión de emprendimiento que impulse la creación de empresas de base tecnológica y transforme a los estudiantes en emprendedores y a sus ideas innovadoras en negocios, mediante un proceso de pre-incubación que contempla la elaboración de un plan y modelo de negocios atractivo y viable para el sector infraestructura..

Ingenio Emprendedor busca identificar emprendedores e innovadores dentro de las Instituciones de Educación Superior asociadas a Alianza FiiDEM de nivel licenciatura o posgrado que cuenten con una idea de negocio innovadora cuyo desarrollo tecnológico y comercial repercuta en el mejoramiento de la infraestructura mexicana.

Los emprendedores interesados en participar QUE NO pertenezcan a alguna de las Instituciones asociadas a la Alianza FiiDEM, podrán rgistrarse y su aceptación en el programa se dejará a consideración del Comité Organizador..

Consta en tres etapas: 1) el registro y selección con una duración de tres meses (15 de junio al 31 de octubre de 2015), 2) las semifinales con una duración de cuatro meses (1 de noviembre de 2015 al 29 de febrero de 2016) y 3) finales con una duración de un mes (del 1 al 31 de marzo del 2016).
El total del programa tiene una duración aproximada de 10 meses.
