A Word from the Lord .
In Abundance Tabernacle of Deliverance was founded under the direction of The Holy Spirit.
The Lord Jesus Christ called The Lards into the Ministry in 1999, when Pastor Juanita Lard was first called to evangelize.
After only one year and a few months of evangelizing, The Lord spoke and told Evangelist Lard that He was going to stop her from preaching the gospel.
Startled at first, because she did not know why The Lord would stop her from preaching, she began to seek His face.
His next words were PASTOR.
Often times when Pastor Lard would be traveling from Tuscaloosa, The Lord would say "Go through Epes, Alabama." Whenever she would get to the Old Ben's Grocery Store, He would speak and say, "That's The Church." Afraid, no one moved! One night it was storming and Go spoke to Pastor Lard and said, "Go and ask for the building.".

The Church's Inception.
Carolyn Speight along with Pastor Lard went to ask the owner if they could use the building.
Upon entering the house, fear began to grip Pastor Lard ,and when the owner asked what she wanted it for, she at first was going to say for a Bible Study.
Pastor Lard felt that people would not accept a female pastor in such a small county such as Sumter.
The Lord immediately spoke and told her that she should not lie, but that she needed to tell the truth.
So she began to open her mouth and say, "I want it for a Church." God then instructed them not pay any more tithes in church, but to start a checking account.
While traveling from Demopolis, Alabama, God them the name of the Church along with further instructions.
The Lord clearly spoke and said, "Name the church In Abundance Tabernacle of Deliverance.
" Out of this, a church was born!! At first the vision seemed so hard, but when the Lord speaks you must listen.
From time to time the Lord speak, and He would give even more directions.
Then the work began.
God instructed them on which carpenters to use, the type and color of the carpet, the pew builders, the day In Abundance should be dedicated, and who to use to dedicate it.
He especially told the "not" to have anything in the Church until it had been dedicated unto Him..

The Church started with $130.00 in an account, and the money which was spent on the electrical materials has never, to this day, returned.
GOD DID IT! God instructed them to approach the carpet contractor with just enough money to only do a portion of the Church, and God touched the seller and he carpeted The Pastor's Study as a gift to them.
One day while getting ready to leave In Abundance Tabernacle of Deliverance, the Lord told Pastor Lard to look around and thank Him for the pews.
Looking around at an empty building, she said, "Thank You Lord for the pews." While pulling out of the driveway, God spoke to her again and said" You haven't been molded by anyone, therefore, I can use you as I desire.
" That Thursday night at the Bible Study in Northside Village Apartment Center, a lady asked Pastor Lard when would The Church be opened.
Pastor Lard then replied saying, "When we get the pews," and the lady went into her purse and began to count out $800.
The Lord had just spoken and said, "Look back and Thank Me for your pews." These are just a few of the blessings I have seen The Lord do, and this was just the beginning of the wonderful things to come.
From then on In Abundance Tabernacle of Deliverance has been continuously growing.

Church Growth .
In Abundance Tabernacle of Deliverance started out with seven (7) original members, and their names are: Nathaniel Lard, Jr., Juanita Lard, Carolyn Speight, Dorothy Hall, Loretta Davis, Melissa James, and Jarvis Sturdivant.
To this date, In Abundance Tabernacle of Deliverance has approximately 65 members.
It has been established for 13 years now, and is continuously growing.
In Abundance Tabernacle of Deliverance has several ministries and programs: Sunday School is held every Sunday from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., and Breaking the Bread of Life at 11:30 a.m.
Pastor Lard does not put an ending time because there should not be a time limit on the Holy Spirit.
God "must" have His way!.

Bible Study is every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m., and begins with 30 minutes of prayer.
The Single's and Marriage Classes are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.
In Abundance Tabernacle of Deliverance has a Leadership Team, Praise Team, Armorbearer Team, Prayer Warriors Team, Usher's Team, and a Soul Searcher's Team (where different members from the Leadership team are commissioned to go out to be a light unto a dark World).
More recently, In Abundance Tabernacle of Deliverance has established (1) Voices of Honor (VOH), who have released two albums, Just for You Lord and Unconventional, (2) Make A Change and Save A Child, Inc (Mac & Sac) which is an organization that reaches out to youth that have ADHD or have been labeled as "underachievers".
