Run by Sai Kulkarni Vaidya (Bachelor of Engineering) and fuelled by her passion for Maths, this venture started with one student in 2013 and has grown from 1 batch a week to 2 batches a day every day of the week.
ImproMaths operates from Choa Chu Kang and also offers coaching via skype..

The mission of ImproMaths is to inculcate love and passion for Mathematics into the students, to nurture them in order remove the fear of Maths out of their minds and make the subject fun for them.

Generally, the fear of Maths is induced at a tender age of 9 or 10 years not understanding the basic principles.
This may happen due to many reasons like feeling shameful to ask questions in the class or lack of good resources during these crucial years.
That is the time when the students start feeling less confident about Maths and slowly this low confidence takes the form of full blown Maths phobia.

So at ImproMaths, the aim is to start early and reduce this fear at the beginning and increase their confidence level.
We believe that during initial years students should be able to focus on Mathematics as a subject (its principles and their applications) rather than thinking about marks.
When the marks are taken out of the equation students become free to grasp the knowledge and enjoy the subject.
