In the year 1965 he along with late sudama prasad and Dr.J.k Sinha conseptualized to give boost to the academic culture of Dhanbad and a society for education named Academic Quest-Jhariya came into existence.
Under this banner the first I.S.L School was started at Jhariya in the year 1966 which is received the honour to be the first CBSE affiliated School of undivided Bihar in 1975.
He had been the lifetime secretory of Academic Quest and ISL as well.Over the years ISL branches flourished and proposed at places like Moonidih, Sudamdih, Bhuli, Bokaro, Bhagabandh and ISM-Annexe-Dhanbad.
