Detailed description is Primeira Igreja Batista em Adolfo-SP Tudo começou em 1936 quando VITÓRIO VOLTOLINI, que morava em Mendonça e era membro da Igreja Batista em Potirendaba, comprou um sítio onde hoje é a cidade de Adolfo e mudou-se com a Família para desbravar o lugar..

Nessa mesma época, logo que construiu sua primeira casa de taboca e barro, começou a realizar cultos aos domingos em sua própria residência..
.
Como o número de participantes havia crescido muito, Vitório Voltolini resolveu doar parte do seu patrimônio para a construção de um templo, a fim de se reunirem e cultuarem a Deus.
Então, no ano de 1941 iniciou-se a construção do templo e em 19 de outubro do mesmo ano ficou pronto, sendo dedicado e consagrado a Deus para os cultos da congregação.
Este foi também o primeiro templo religioso a ser construído na cidade de Adolfo..

O templo antigo permaneceu o mesmo até o ano de 2002, quando se deu sua reconstrução, hoje temos um lindo templo à Rua Duque de Caixas, nº 847, esquina com a Rua Prudente de Morais inaugurado em 15 de fevereiro de 2003..

Em 24 de maio de 2008, sob a liderança do Pr.
Edevaldo Soldeira Rodrigues, Pastor titular da Primeira Igreja Batista em São José do Rio Preto e do Pastor Itamar da Conceição Santos, Pastor da congregação local, organizou-se a PRIMEIRA IGREJA BATISTA em ADOLFO, com muita alegria e gratidão a Deus, reconhecendo, sobretudo, o profundo valor dos pioneiros que deixaram suas marcas de excelente testemunho cristão e dos membros atuais que se dedicam dia após dia para que o Reino de Jesus Cristo seja estabelecido nessa cidade..
