Bilkent Üniversitesi IEEE Öğrenci Kolu, IEEE Türkiye Şubesi içinde kurulan ilk öğrenci kolu olarak bu konuda Türkiye'de öncülük etmiş bir topluluktur.
17 Mayıs 1990 tarihinde kurulan öğrenci kolumuz, kurulduğu günden günümüze kadar pek çok başarılı etkinliğe imza atmıştır.
Etkinliklerimizin amacı, IEEE'yi ve IEEE üyeliğinin getirdiği avantajları çevremize duyurmak, üyelerimize yardımcı olabileceğimiz her açıdan destek olmak ve hizmet verebilmektir.
Bu amaç doğrultusunda, IEEE Bilkent Öğrenci Kolu sadece elektrik ve elektronik mühendisliği öğrencilerine değil, IEEE'nin kendisine yararı olacağını düşünen her türlü katılımcıya yardım etmeye çalışır.
Onların ileriki kariyerlerini daha sağlıklı bir şekilde belirlemelerine yardım eder.
Üyelerinin öğrencilikleri sırasındaki gerek teknik, gerek sosyal hayatlarını hem öğretici hem de keyifli etkinlikleriyle renklendirmeye çalışır.
Bu etkinlikler arasında çeşit kariyer yönlendirme seminerleri, proje yarışmaları, teknik eğitimler, desteklenen projeler ve IEEE'nin tanıtımına yönelik faaliyetler sayılabilir.
Şu anda 45 aktif olarak çalışan ve sorumluluk alan üyesi bulunan Bilkent IEEE Öğrenci Kolu, artan bir ivmeyle büyümeye ve gücüne güç katmaya devam etmektedir..

Bilkent University IEEE Student Branch is a pioneer community in Turkey by means of being the first student branch founded in IEEE Turkey Section.
Our student branch has hosted many successful events and activities since May 17,1990.
Our aim in events and activities is to proclaim IEEE and advantages of IEEE membership, and to support and serve our members in every respect.
To do so, Bilkent IEEE Student Branch tries to serve not only EEE students, but every student that thinks IEEE has a benefit to themselves.
It helps students plan their future careers in a carefully-considered way.
It tries to liven up members' both techinal and social lives during their studentship period with fun and educational activities; such as various career development seminars, project competitions, workshops, supported projects, and activities for introducing IEEE.
