1978 yılında Ankara’da kurulan HİDROMEK, iş makineleri sektöründe Türkiye'nin önde gelen üreticilerinden biridir.
1989 yılında Türk mühendisleri tarafından tasarlanan ve üretilen ilk kazıcı yükleyicisi ile başladığı iş makinesi üretimi ve satışları, takip eden yıllarda üretimin hız kazanmasıyla, sadece yurt içiyle sınırlı kalmamış, yurt dışı satışları da başlanmıştır.
Kazıcı yükleyici ürün grubunda gösterdiği başarının ardından ekskavatör üretimine 2002 yılında başlayan HİDROMEK, paletli ve lastikli ekskavatörleriyle ürün gamını genişletmiştir.
2013 yılında Mitsubishi’den motor greyder iş kolunu satın alarak, büyümesini sürdüren HİDROMEK 5 kıtada 50’nin üzerinde ülkeye iş makinelerini ihraç etmektedir.
2016 yılı sonu itibarıyla Hidromek, Türkiye piyasasında kazıcı yükleyici ürün grubunda 8 yıl üst üste kazandığı liderliğe, paletli ekskavatörde son 5 yılın liderliğini de eklemiştir.
Dünyanın en büyük makine üreticilerinin bulunduğu “YellowTable” listesinde ise son üç yıldır 46.sırada bulunan HİDROMEK bu listede bulunan ilk ve tek Türk iş makinesi üreticisidir..

HİDROMEK started manufacturing machinery in 1989 by producing backhoe loaders which were the first construction machinery designed and produced by Turkish Engineers.
