It has been a passion and a dream to run a Canine Hydrotherapy Rehabilitation Centre and that dream has now become a reality.
Our Newfoundland dog at the beginning of 2016 was diagnosed with arthritis in her right hock and so became our first client.
Lana is evidence of the extensive difference that proper Canine Hydrotherapy rehabilitation sessions delivered with expertise can bring pain free activity back to a dog.
This means our dog is happy and has a better quality of life and is now able to participate in activities with the Auckland Newfoundland Branch such as Carting for various charity events and taking part in Newfoundland Water Rescue trails around New Zealand.

Since a young age, I was around dogs and small animals.
My family home was a rescue home for dogs who were brought to us by the RSPCA.
Often, I would arrive home from school to find a new member in the house that would require some TLC and training before being re-homed.
I was taught how to train and care for dogs by a qualified dog trainer and I have never been without a dog or two or three since, along with cats, parrots, fish, chickens and a Kunekune pig named Rosie..
I worked in the Police Force, and during my career I was able to work alongside the dog section.
My love for dogs grew as I witnessed the close relationship between handler and dog in an environment that was tough at times for dog and handler.
During this time when not on duty I trained as a Canine Hydrotherapist.
My husband Keith, also worked with dogs while he served in the British Army as a dog handler and trainer, and we both share our love and passion for these amazing four legged members of our family..
Ann is also qualified in 2011 as trainer in Pet First Aid and Care Trainer, and loves teaching owners these important skills and techniques..
Ann teaches companies within the Pet Industry the Pet First Aid Course and also pet owners..
Ann’s passion for dogs to her on an exciting journey in 2008 - 2011 when she qualified in Animal Behaviour after studying and learning about the American Grey Wolf’s of Yellowstone National Park in America.
