Detailed description is Hello and welcome to Hummingbird Stained Glass! My name is Heidi Kelly, and I am the artist behind the name, and I hope you enjoy exploring my studio.
I started creating stained glass pieces for fun in 1985, but I was frustrated by how expensive it was to start as a hobby! As a young mother of two, at the time, I wanted a place to express myself that didn't break the bank.
Over the years I continued to practice my art, all while scrimping and saving until I opened my studio in 1993! .

It is my goal to teach others that stained glass is not intimidating or expensive; but a great way to spend time with friends and create your own little piece of art.
I chose the hummingbird as my mascot because the hummingbird has long been associated with light and the enjoyment of life.
When people come to my studio, whether it is their first time touching glass, or they are a seasoned pro that is looking for supplies and a place to practice their art, I want you to find a little piece of happiness.
