Detailed description is Human Services Welcome to the Human Services Club.
We are open to all Wayne Community College students, faculty and staff.
We have two main areas of interest.
Our main mission is service to others in our school and the local community.
We have been active with the Boys and Girls Club in Goldsboro and Mt.
Olive, The Brian Center and organizing food and clothing drives.
We have had several very successful raffles that raised funds for local families in need.
Our second area of interest is building friendships and professional development, because we believe giving service to others is rewarding for everyone involved.
We did win the SGA club award for 2006, and combined with the good works of other clubs on campus, we achieved a lot of positive things for the school and Wayne County..
Please come and join us to share your time and unique gifts with us and others as we look forward to an exciting year in 2011-2012.
