Detailed description is HT2 Cocktail Lounge Nick Ladig was born and raised in Noble County, about 30 miles NW of Fort Wayne, in a little town called Wolf Lake.
It was one fateful day on his way to school in the 3rd grade at Wolf Lake Elementary that his coveted bus seat he had all to himself to dream about actually having game one day was tainted forever when the bus driver announced the new kid, Travis Barnes, would be his new seat mate.
The awkward kid with a colic in the front and mismatched purple and red sweats introduced himself, a friendship was born, and things have never been the same since for Nick or Travis..

Nick spent his formative years in the restaurant industry all the way through college.
He then moved back to Fort Wayne, took a job in the beer industry and really grew an appreciation for the adult beverage landscape and the service industry.

The whole time, though, Nick kept telling bar owners and other hopeful restauranteurs that they should open a drinking establishment out near Illinois and Scott roads – because there was an obvious need for one – not knowing eventually he would be the one to do so..

Travis, meanwhile, dropped out of college after 9/11, joined the Marines, went to Iraq 3 times and then subsequently landed back in Fort Wayne after serving his 4 years for our country.
After a stint in the Fort, he went to Indy, graduated law school and then decided to open a distillery – Hotel Tango – with several of his newfound friends in the Indy area.

hey Hil) Hotel Tango took off quickly after it’s opening in 2014 so much so that two years later Nick started helping the company with it’s sales growth and direction, thanks to his experience gained in the beer biz at one of the best wholesalers in the business..

In late 2016, Nick had an idea… He could partner his passion for the restaurant world and vision for an establishment in an underserved area of town with the products that Travis and team at Hotel Tango were producing to create a fresh new concept in Fort Wayne.
HT2 was born as a result.
Nick decided to open a cocktail lounge that would feature and focus on the HT line of products but also carry some other neighborhood staples to provide the area with a new relaxing venue to enjoy a drink without having to travel back into "the city." That is how HT2 came to be - enjoy!
