Welcome! My name is Joanna and been involved in the care and minding of homes, properties, livestock and beloved pets for over 7 years.
Starting off as a favour to my Manager at work back in 2008 the adventure has simply taken off.

The most common interest and feedback I receive and the leading passion behind my work in home, property and animal care is that a home is kept secure, required tasks are attended to keeping properties running, and animals (pets) are less distressed in their home environment with their usual routine and a human friend.

ABOUT ME.
I am a full time employed single professional woman in my 30s.
I am currently based in Thurgoona, Albury, between minding services.

I do not own my own home yet as I have loved to travel, study, volunteer and live life too much.
I am working slowly however to save to design and build my own home one day as this too is a passion.

I have one fur-daughter, 3 year old Silky Terrier Samantha Rose (current model for the pages profile picture).

Although I don't own a horse any longer, I still continue to ride when I can.

My experience covers a range or rural, regional and metropolitin areas, being based primarily in the Albury-Wodonga region but also in Tasmania for a time.

Standard duties include waste removal (bins), mail (including PO Box pick up), watering of plants and gardens (seasonal), keeping the home clean and tidy and daily security checks and care.
Owners will provide and discuss a list of specific tasks with me.
Each circumstance is very unique and I cater to a range of situations and needs.

EXPIRENCE - ANIMALS.
I have cared for a huge variety of domestic, work and stock animals.
From lizards, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, cattle, horses and course various breeds of cats and dogs.

I truly love animals.
I have had a variety of pets myself.
I grew up around family with various animals including properties in remote locations.
I have a childhood full of fantastic adventures and stories related animals and the land.

I am committed to adhering TO the routines of all stock, work and domestic animals.
Research supports that animals become more distressed when taken from their home environment and / or follow a differing routine.
Although they may be missing their family / owners, being cared for in their home environment and following their usual daily activities supports their wellbeing and happiness.
