Alix grew up in Laconia, New Hampshire with dogs, cats, and horses.
After receiving a BA from Mount Holyoke College, she went on to open a successful pet care business, Pawsitively Pampered Pets in Seattle, Washington.
Eventually she went on to receive her MS in Fisheries and Wildlife Management from Michigan State University.
Most recently Alix worked at Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts.
A desire to return to the place where she grew up has brought Alix back to New Hampshire to establish Homeward Bound Professional Animal Care, LLC.
Alix brings a lifetime of knowledge gained by working with animals of all kinds from dogs, cats and horses to wildlife such as deer, wolves, and bear..
