Detailed description is Holy Spirit College was a Roman Catholic, co-educational, senior secondary High School located in Grafton NSW that operated between 1973 and 1989.
Holy Spirit College was a Roman Catholic, co-educational, senior secondary High School in Grafton in northern New South Wales, Australia.
The College opened in 1973 taking its first Fifth and Sixth Form students who were drawn primarily from neighbouring St Mary’s (girls) and St Aloysius (boys) Colleges.
The College was renamed McAuley Catholic College in 1990 with the amalgamation of the three local Catholic schools and classes were extended from Year 7 through to Year 12.
The original campus of the College was located in Victoria Street between St Mary’s and St Aloysius on the banks of the Clarence River in central Grafton.
Early in 2004, the re-location of the College to its new campus at Clarenza on the outskirts of Grafton was commenced.
The new campus was completed in 2006..
